Geneseo, NY is 3 hours away, so Ma and I get up early and head out taking the back roads 'cause the thru-way is boring as fuck. Saw 2 hitchhikers and a ton of one-horse towns...and one town powered by tons of big windmills...Get there, pay $30 to get in and 45 minutes later: downpour complete with thunder and lightning...money well spent...Made me sad panda...
So, the back-up plan was stop at antique stores on the way home...got a sweet yellow 1940s dress and a purse (circa early 1900s) marked $50 for $10 because some stitches came out - easy as hell to repair! Made me a happy panda.


but here's the funny and the weiners:

Gowanda, NY is a comedy sketch; you can't make this shit up! First there's part of a carnival ride parked outside what is called the Gowanda Mall. The 'mall' is about the size of a big house and consists solely of "Weinerville" which has a giant mural of dancing hot dogs on the front of it...and it's located across from the state prison. Classy town that Gowanda. I see jealously of my awesome travels...



This weekend is the Victorian festival AND the Scandinavian festival!! I'm excited!!




So anybody who reads this have any crazy/fun foreign music to share? I gots tons but always wants more...A longshot, but, whatever, I do what I want...sometimes...
